The retailsector, and food retailing, remains the dominant sub-sector within thefranchising arena.
This is reflected in the annual survey conductedby Mortgage Choice which questioned potentialfranchisees about their intentions. In this report, over half ofprospective franchisees are looking to invest in the food retailing sectorwithin the next three years.
This is despite the proliferation of cafes andcoffee outlets already in the franchise arena.
The Mortgage Choice 2010 Potential FranchiseeSurvey results highlighted the dominance of food retail as the franchise sectorof choice, with 53 percent listing retail – food/restaurants/cafes - as theirchosen industry.
