Renovations are now well under way for the revamped Great Northern Hotel in Newcastle, with a scheduled opening date in November 2018.
The iconic Great Northern Hotel is situated in the heart of Newcastle. Throughout it's long history the hotel has survived depressions, recessions, floods and earthquakes. The Great Northern Hotel is an art deco treasure situated in the historic East End convict precinct.
When completed the hotel will boast two levels of bars and entertainment and also includes a magnificent rooftop bar and restaurant which will be as good as any in the country.
