An athlete has been banned from an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Germany after consuming close to 100 plates of sushi in one sitting.

Despite the possibility of rogue diners, all-you-can-eat offers have seen a resurgence in Australia.

As Hospitality recently reported, the deals can be used to boost brand awareness and profits but it’s important to set ground rules — like encouraging diners to purchase alcoholic drinks.

The dish included two slices of toast, half an avocado, a chunk of feta, and a slice of lime.

The manager of the cafe claims the "deconstructed" avocado toast is one of the most popular items on the menu.
