How Do Restaurant Directories Compare in Narrabeen?
I was checking Facebook when an ad popped up which caught my attention.
Here's the ad:
True Local Facebook Ad
"There are 24,641 listing views for restaurants on our site each week. True. Register your business with True Local to get in front of our 3.2 million site visits monthly,""
You may have seen it also.
So I decided I'd go through the process of seeing what they were offering.
I have to say, it was a painful exercise just to learn a bit more!
True Local Facebook Step 1:
They want your email and phone number.
That's asking a lot. Most people would have abandoned at this stage.
True Local Facebook Step 2:
Now they want me to agree to their Privacy Terms.
Are they kidding? They are advertising to me.
True Local Facebook Step 3:
It tells me I made it!
I can imagine not many people would get this far.
But where am I going?

And there's the rub - they want to sell me on advertising my restaurant on True Local.
So then my question is, why would I want to advertise on this site?
I can't say I have ever used their service to find a restauarant.
