HOW RESTAURANTS ARE CLEVERLY TRICKING YOU INTO SPENDING AND EATING MORE, VIA THEIR MENUS
In this age of marketing and commercialism, even the simple restaurant menu has experienced a makeover. No longer a list of what they have in the fridge that they can warm up for you, menus are compiled with as much thought as the food itself.
There are a range of techniques used, some of them obvious, some of them surprising – and some of them downright annoying. But by employing these techniques, a menu helps ensure the establishment gets the most buck for their bang.....
And my comment
Really, I don't think so. I personally eat until I am full. That may be one course or three courses. If you are so concerned with what restaurants are doing to trick you maybe you should just confine yourself to eating at McD's. Do you want fries with that? What business doesn't try to improve their offering and maximise their dollar potential? Most people would rightly call this marketing and then enjoy themselves anyway. Bah humbug!
