For 1000's of years if you wanted to make food last longer then you would try salt curing, smoking, pickling, freezing adding preservatives & Canning.
I've Been editing the 2-hour video we recorded with our UNOX Combi Oven Demo.
The was quite a lot discussion on "How Vacuum Sealing will make your food last Longer,""
So I thought we should look at how Vacuum Sealer extends the shelf life your fresh perishable product by 3 to 5 times.
Your Food will maintain it's freshness and flavour 3-5 times longer because they reduce your food coming in contact with oxygen.
“The shelf life of a food is the length of time a food can keep before it begins to deteriorate or, in some cases, before the food becomes less nutritious or unsafe.”
Can fresh meat really be OK to eat several weeks after you bought it?
When you use a Vacuum Sealer, your food will maintain its texture and appearance, because microorganisms such as bacteria mould and yeast cannot grow in a vacuum.
Eliminate Freezer burn because foods no longer gets dehydrated from contact with cold, dry air.
