Restaurant Booking Site Dimmi Rebrands As 'TheFork'

Australian online restaurant discovery and booking site Dimmi has unveiled a new name, a new logo, a new-look website and new apps as part of an extensive rebranding initiative.

The TripAdvisor-owned reservation service is now known as TheFork, with all current Dimmi restaurants now bookable at www.thefork.com.au.

Remarkably, it costs less to eat at the restaurant and have a waiter serve you than to order online and have food couriered to your home. The owner quietly charges more for deliveries because Uber Eats takes about a third of the order value for meals its riders delivers.
