When I was growing up, we did not have a dishwasher. So we use to take turns washing the dishes.

I have to confess I hated drying the dishes. It seemed like a waste of time, as well as pretty unhygienic.

Even at a young age released that if you rinsed them in hot water, they would dry themselves.

I remember the excitement when my parents decided to get a new kitchen. We would finally be getting a dishwasher.

All my brothers wanted to use the Dishwasher. So for the first couple of month, there was never an issue to load and run the dishwasher.

Once the novelty wore off, It became a struggle to get us to do dishes.

So as more things changed the more, they stay the same.

I now have my own kids.

I like to say things have changed & they just demand to load & put the dishwasher.

Unfortunately, that would be delusional, at least when I was growing getting a dishwasher was a big deal.

Now everybody has a dishwasher, so it's not so special or exciting to load the dishwasher.

It's almost a miracle if I can get them to put the dishes in the sink.

I hope my kids aren't a reflection of the attitudes for washing dishes in your cafe, restaurant or Pub.

Luckily my brothers & kids don’t have the responsibility for washing your dishes. Otherwise, you'ld have piles of dirty dishes.

I'm sure my kids aren't the only ones who hate doing the dishes.
